Yacht Value Calculator
Australia
Combine several comparable boats with vessel-specific condition, repair and evidence checks. The calculator scores confidence, explains every adjustment and tells you what would improve the estimate.

Build an evidence-led range
The model uses the median of your comparable boats, discounts asking-price evidence, adjusts for your yacht’s risk factors, then widens or narrows the range according to evidence quality.
1. Identify the vessel
2. Add the closest comparables
Use the same model or generation where possible. Each price must be in AUD; exclude unrelated boats even if their length is similar.
3. Price the differences

How accurate is the yacht value calculator?
It provides an evidence-led range, not a formal valuation. Accuracy improves when you enter several close comparables and realistic condition, equipment and repair adjustments.
Should I use advertised or sold yacht prices?
Verified sold prices are stronger evidence when available. Advertised prices still help, but they show seller expectations rather than the amount a buyer accepted.
Does upgrading a yacht increase its value by the full cost?
Usually not. Buyers may pay more for useful, recent and documented equipment, but the increase is rarely equal to the original invoice.
What reduces a yacht’s selling value?
Unresolved engine, rig, moisture, osmosis, electrical and documentation risks can reduce value by more than the likely repair bill because buyers also price uncertainty.
